LOUIS XVI GILTWOOD CONSOLE

A beautiful marble top console with an exquisitely carved wooden base, featuring bay tree detail and heavy garlands of oak leaves and acorns.  The cross stretcher is embellished with a pot-à-feu motif (fire urn). France, 18th century. Minor chips consistent with age.
