An attractive and decorative hunting rifle from France’s oldest gun manufacturer. Saint-Etienne was a French state-owned weapons manufacturer, founded in 1764, in the town of Saint-Etienne, Loire. The undersides are hallmarked with St-Etienne stamp. Fine engraving, walnut stock, double external hammers, caliber 16. France, circa 1880.
