EMPIRE BED WITH CIEL DE LIT & CANOPY

A glorious French Empire-period bed, circa 1810. Crafted from solid mahogany, mahogany veneer featuring gilt bronze mounts. The ciel de lit ( also mahogany ) is later, probably Louis Philippe, circa 1840.
